PRIVACY POLICY

Use Last updated: 9 October 2026 from the global strings.

On the Olga Cerpa y Mestisay website, we process personal data to respond to enquiries, handle performance booking requests and enable participation in the guestbook and comments.

This policy explains what information we use, why we use it and how you can exercise your rights.

1. DATA CONTROLLER

You can contact us at this email address with any questions about how we process your personal data.

2. WHAT DATA WE PROCESS AND WHY

ENQUIRIES AND PERFORMANCE BOOKINGS

When you contact us by email or through a form, we process the information you provide, such as your name, email address and message. If you include details about your organisation, telephone number or event, we will also use them to handle your request.

We use this information to respond to you, consider collaboration or booking proposals, and take any necessary steps relating to your enquiry.

We process booking requests to take pre-contractual steps at your request or to perform the relevant contract where you are a party to it.

When you act as a contact person for a company, institution or organisation, we use your professional contact details on the basis of our legitimate interest in maintaining our relationship with that entity. For other enquiries, our legitimate interest is to respond to the communications you send us.

Required fields will be identified on the forms. If you do not provide the necessary information, we may be unable to handle your request.
Contacting us does not subscribe you to marketing communications.

GUESTBOOK AND COMMENTS

When you contribute to the guestbook or post a comment, we process the name or alias you provide, your email address and the content of your contribution.

Your name or alias, comment and publication date may be visible to anyone visiting the page and may be indexed by search engines. Your email address will not be displayed publicly.

We use this information to manage, moderate and publish contributions. The publication of your data is based on the consent you give when requesting publication, after receiving the relevant information.

You can withdraw your consent and ask us to delete your contribution by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

Avoid including sensitive data, other people’s private information or contact details you do not want to make public.

WEBSITE OPERATION AND SECURITY

We process technical data needed to keep the website operational, detect problems and prevent abusive access or automated submissions. This data may include IP addresses, browser information, access dates and times, and activity logs.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the website and its users’ communications, using only the information necessary for that purpose.

The forms use Google reCAPTCHA to detect automated activity and reduce spam. This involves processing technical information about the device, browser and interaction with the service.

If you have difficulty submitting a form, you can contact us directly by email.

WEBSITE USAGE STATISTICS

We use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used and to improve its content and operation.

When you allow this service, it collects browsing information such as pages visited, interactions, device information and identifiers associated with cookies.

This processing is based on your consent. You can refuse or withdraw consent through the cookie settings panel.

YOUTUBE VIDEOS

The website includes YouTube videos. When you allow the player to load, a connection is established with Google, enabling the transmission of technical information, such as your IP address and browser data, as well as playback information.

If you are signed in to Google, the provider may associate certain interactions with your account in accordance with its terms.

This content and its associated non-essential technologies will load only after we have obtained your consent.

3. WHO CAN ACCESS YOUR DATA

Enquiries are handled by Macanda Producciones, S. L. They are not forwarded to external agencies or representatives.
We use technology providers to deliver the website’s services:

- IONOS: website hosting and associated technical services.
- Google Gmail: receiving, storing and managing email.
- Google Analytics: website usage statistics, when you allow them.
- Google reCAPTCHA: protection against automated submissions and abuse.
- YouTube: video playback, when you allow videos to load.

Each provider’s role depends on the service and its terms: some processing is carried out on Macanda’s behalf, while other processing serves the provider’s own purposes.

You can consult Google’s Privacy Policy. Processing carried out by reCAPTCHA on our behalf is governed by the service terms and Google Cloud’s data processing agreement.

Data may also be disclosed to the competent authorities where required by law.
We do not sell your personal data.

4. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Using Google services may involve processing data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States.

Google publishes information about the mechanisms it uses for these transfers, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses, on its data transfer frameworks page.

[TO BE COMPLETED BEFORE PUBLICATION: identify the recipient entities and the specific safeguards applicable to the accounts and services used. This paragraph must be completed with that information.]

You can request information about the applicable safeguards by emailing macandaproducciones@gmail.com.

5. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA

  • Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: up to 12 months after the last communication relating to the request, unless an ongoing matter justifies keeping the data.
  • Contractual relationships: throughout the relationship and afterwards for the periods required to meet legal obligations and address potential liabilities.
  • Guestbook and comments: for as long as the contribution remains published and continues to serve its purpose, unless you withdraw consent or request its deletion. We will review whether it still needs to be retained.
  • Google Analytics: user-level and event-level data will be retained for 2 months, in accordance with the settings adopted. This period does not determine how long aggregated statistical reports are retained.
  • Technical logs and anti-spam data: [COMPLETE with the retention periods or criteria applicable to the IONOS product, WordPress logs and reCAPTCHA configuration used].

Where legally required, data will be retained with access and use restricted to addressing potential liabilities. It will be deleted once the applicable periods have expired.

6. YOUR RIGHTS

Where provided for by applicable law, you may:

- Request access to your personal data.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request erasure of your data.
- Request restriction of processing.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Request data portability where applicable.
- Withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise these rights, email macandaproducciones@gmail.com, explaining your request and providing the information needed to locate your data.
We will only ask for additional information to verify your identity where there are reasonable doubts about it.

We will generally respond within one month. If the complexity or number of requests requires an extension, we will inform you within the first month.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, particularly if you believe we have not adequately addressed your rights.

7. COOKIES AND PRIVACY PREFERENCES

Our Cookie Policy provides information about the cookies and similar technologies used, their purposes, providers and duration.

Technologies requiring consent will not be activated until you allow them. You can accept, reject or configure the available options and change your choice later through the cookie settings panel.

Rejecting analytics cookies will not prevent you from viewing the website’s general content. Some external content, such as videos, will remain disabled until you allow it to load.

8. CHILDREN

If you are under 14, any participation requiring consent to process your personal data must be authorised by your parents or legal guardians.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We will update this policy when our data processing activities or applicable obligations change. The date of the latest update will appear at the top of the page.

If we wish to use your data for a new purpose, we will inform you beforehand and request your consent where necessary.
